How to Use DEFENDER SiO2 Protectant
For best results, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Ensure the coating has cured: If using DEFENDER as a topper, allow your base coating (e.g., Inspiration Coating) to cure for at least 1 hour before applying DEFENDER SiO2 Protectant.
  2. Apply to a cool surface: Always apply DEFENDER to a cool vehicle surface and avoid direct sunlight to ensure optimal bonding and ease of application.
  3. Application method:
    • Spray DEFENDER directly onto the paint surface, or apply it to a microfiber towel for easy wiping.
    • For a uniform application, work in small 3' x 3' sections.
  4. Spread evenly: Gently wipe the surface in a circular motion to spread DEFENDER evenly.
  5. Buff to a bright finish: After applying, flip the microfiber towel and wipe away any excess to reveal a bright, glossy finish.
  6. Repeat: Continue the process over the entire vehicle to ensure complete coverage and protection.
