During the leveling process, it's important to wipe with a clean towel surface to avoid embedding hardened coating particles in the fibers, which can lead to scratches on the paint surface. As the coating is removed from the vehicle's surface, it begins to harden and cure within the towel fibers, making it essential to use a clean area of the cloth to avoid damage.

Maximize Towel Performance with Proper Folding

Experienced ceramic coating installers know that folding the towel twice to create eight 8"x8" sections helps maximize the towel's performance during the leveling process. As each side of the towel is used, the ceramic coating applicator cloth should be flipped and refolded to expose a clean section, ensuring no contamination or hardening of product on the towel.
